About this app

Pingo is a companion app to Findmykids, our app for parents. Please only install this app on a device used by a child or teenager.

We recommend you start by downloading the Findmykids app on your phone. After that, install Pingo on your child's device and enter the code from the Findmykids app you received when you signed up.
Done!
Now these two devices are connected and you can use the GPS tracker.

OUR KEY FEATURES:

GPS locator – see your child's location on the map and the history of the day's activity - an online location diary. Make sure that your child does not go to dangerous places

Sound around – listen to what's going on around your child to make sure they're okay

Loud signal – send a loud signal to your child's phone if they have left it in their backpack or on silent mode and can't hear the call

Parental control – find out what apps they used at school, whether they played in class instead of learning

Notifications – make sure your child is on time for school: get notifications when they get to school, back home, and other places you've created

Battery control – remind your child to charge the phone on time: you will be notified if the battery is about to run out

Family chat – chat with your child in the chat room with fun stickers and send voice messages

You can see your child's online location for free once the devices are connected. Other features in the free version are available with restrictions. To use all the features of the app, you should buy a subscription.

The app asks for the following permissions:

- access camera and photos - to install the child's avatar;
- access contacts - to fill in the phone book in GPS-watch;
- accessibility services - to limit time at the smartphone screen
- access the microphone - to send voice message

In case of technical problems, you can always contact Findmykids 24-hour support via support chat in the app or by e-mail support@findmykids.org

I feel like I’ve lost the will to do my own thing or have any privacy ever since I was forced to download this app. All my siblings have it too, and it tracks everywhere I go. They say it’s supposed to make things more secure, but for me, it just causes more anxiety and pressure. My life was perfectly fine before I downloaded it, but after I did, everything went downhill — now there’s an argument almost every single day just because I use my phone.

This app dehumanises kids and is straight up controlling. Everything is being controlled. I have personal reasons on why I spend so long on a call with my cousins and my family members can't respect that, after coming from a long day of college and my family uses this app to start an argument I really can't deal with this stress. Some features are excessive and unecessary like the microphone feature where they can listen to you, it makes me feel more unsafe.

Hate this extremely. My mom forced me to install it and now I have no privacy. Tracks my location, activity and even knows my screen time. The hell is with this? It doesn't gain any trust, doesn't help with a good relationship with your parents — it destroys everything. What's the point if my parents don't trust me? It doesn't help at all. Hate it.

What's new

Hear that? How could you not? It's like there's a little ringing sound. Ding-ding. Yep, it's the reminder bell, telling you it's time to update the Pingo app!
